I had the day off today........

So, I did some cleaning of course. Stripped the beds, washed bedding and towels. Fun stuff, I know.

Adam was home sick today, I swear the kids just keep handing things back and forth. Adam was home with a stomach bug last thursday and home today with a horrible cough.
Emily was home last Wed-Fri with a high fever and cough. I'm hoping that with spring around the corner that this is it. We want to be done with being sick already!!!

I also managed to sneak in a layout today. I love this picture of Emmy and Jake. He is such a silly, dopey dog. Not very smart but very, very sweet. Emily adores him and they are rarely apart.

How cute are they???

Feels a lot like Spring

We had a few gorgeous days in a row here in Pennsylvania. The sun was shining and it was close to sixty degrees. And on top of it all we changed our clocks and it's light out even later! I love this time of year.

The campground will be opening next month which has us thinking about buying a new camper......again. We put a deposit on one last fall but changed our minds at the last minute. It's a big investment to make and I always wonder how long the kids will love it, when they will decide they'd rather be home with their friends. I think we have a few years until we reach that point and until then we'd really like to have a new, more spacious camper so the search is on again.

Adam starts baseball soon so Glen took him for some batting practice yesterday. They both had a great time. While they were busy with that me and Emmy hit the mall, then lunch and did even more shopping. All in sunshine and 60ish weather. It was a great day for everyone, especially Emmy who missed 3 days of school last week being sick and was stuck in the house since Tuesday.

Today we cleaned house and I even did a scrapbook page believe it or not. I always want to scrap as soon as my space is nice and clean and then I trash it again. Today was no exception. Here is the page I got done:

Seven years old, can you believe it?? I sure can't.

More snow, and a layout!

I know, it's about time I've posted right?

I hope everyone had a great holiday season, I know we did! I was lucky enough to be able to take the last two weeks of December off and be home with the kids for their entire vacation. We didn't really go anywhere but we just got to hang out at home together, stay up late and play with all their new Christmas games and toys.

I love Christmas but now that the holidays are over it's a long, long winter ahead of us. It's snowing today, again. We are expecting up to 10 inches. Yes 10. So I took advantage of being stuck in the house and got this page done. I really love how it turned out.

I also have some really great pictures from the past month that I need to post. Wait until you see Carson! Good night everyone.

I'm still here

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween. We had a blast! I took the kids to a friends house and we all went trick or treating together. I loved that the holiday fell on a Friday and we didn't have to worry about the time, so much more fun that way!

So, I finally did a page last night and you would think it's of Halloween right? Nope, it's from July. The campground we stay at has an Olympics every year and it's one of our favorite days of the year. Our team came in first place which was great but the kids had so much fun they wouldn't have cared anyway. They worked their butts off and this picture was the end of the day when everyone was exhausted.

Don't they all look so proud? Such a great day, we're already looking forward to next year.

Happy Fall!

I cannot believe it's the end of September already! We'll be shopping for Halloween costumes before you know it. I love this time of year, most notably since it's my little guy's birthday.

Today is Adam's 7th birthday, I really wish he was a summer baby so we could spend the day together. Now that he's in school his birthday gets mixed into the chaos like most work/school days. I took a half day at work today and will surprise him at the bus stop and then we're taking him shopping and to dinner. We'll have his party on Sunday so he still has that to look forward to as well.

My mom came across this picture of Adam & Emily with Brandon who lives in our neighborhood. They were picking black raspberries, can you tell? Adam was still 2 years old here and still had his crazy curls.

Love this picture!

2 pages today

Soccer started a few weeks ago and then school so needless to say my free time is rare these days. Here is a layout I got done today in between laundry and cleaning the house. Since my little guy already has his orange belt I'd say I have some catching up to do on the karate pics.

I did this layout later tonight after the kiddo's were in bed. Two in one day!

Hope everyone has a great week. Thanks for stopping by.

Summer fun and the Threading Water punch

It's been a while since I blogged, normal day to day summer things are keeping us so busy. We had a great weekend last week. Emmy's friend spent the weekend with us, we went to a bunch of yardsales and pretty much stayed outside the whole 2 days. It's nice to stay close to home once in awhile. We'll probably go to the camper this weekend if the weather cooperates. We've had some wicked storms the last 2 days.

I found the Fiskars threading water border punch! It was right in front of me at AC Moore last week, I couldn't believe it. I've been on every wait list out there for this punch and there it was. I knew it was a little tricky but I was able to figure it out pretty quick but I do have some holes that look double punched. I created this layout of super cute, super sweet Carson. He is pulling himself up to standing now and I got this picture of him when we babysat last week. Hard to believe he's the same little preemie boy that was so fragile less than a year ago.

How cute is this kid? I love him to pieces.

Good night everyone.
